Making additional repayments will help you reduce your interest costs and pay off your loan faster. You can do this at any time when you have extra cash1. To make additional repayments to your HomePath loan you can:
- Increase your direct debit repayment amount (the amount you are paying from an account);
- Increase your salary credit amount (the amount that is deducted from your salary and deposited to your loan account); or
- Use BPAY®.
To increase your direct debit amount simply logon to myHomePath and complete the Service Request form. We will attend to your request and confirm by email that your request has been processed.
To increase your salary credit amount you will need to ask your employer to increase the amount that is deducted from your salary and forwarded to HomePath.
To make a lump sum payment using BPAY® through telephone or Internet banking simply follow the prompts to make a payment from your cheque or savings account. You will be asked to provide your:
- HomePath Biller Code which is 24380; and
- Customer Reference Number, which is the nine digit loan account number that is located at the top right hand corner of your loan statement.
If the transaction is completed prior to 6pm (Sydney time) on a business day, the funds will be credited by BPAY® to your loan the same business day. Funds transferred after 6pm will not be credited to your loan until the next business day.
1 On Fixed Rate loans you are only able to make additional repayment of $10,000 per annum. You may incur an Early Repayment Adjustment and Administration Fee for repayments in excess of this amount.
